Foto yang ditampilkan di sini adalah foto salah satu ‘landmark’ di Bintaro sampe sekitar awal tahun ini. Terletak di bundaran sektor 7. Sekarang, landmark itu sudah dihancurkan karena lalu akan dijadikan flyover. Sedih, sih .. karena sebetulnya taman itu jadi hiburan buat orang-orang seputaran Bintaro dan tempat cari rejeki buat pedagang kaki lima.

Sekarang tinggal kenangan. Untung sempet mengabadikan.

A love letter

Saya terlalu mudah jatuh cinta… I rushes things once I found somebody with the qualities that I’m looking for. Inilah salah satu sumber penyebab utama roller-coaster emosi saya .. I fall too easily.

Baru-baru ini juga saya baru saja mengalami lagi perasaan ‘jatuh’ ini, kali ini dengan orang yang saya pikir bakal sungguhan “jadi” sama saya .. But, again, I was too rushing .. I decided to dedicate this post for him simply because (even though I haven’t met the guy yet) I really thought he was special. That is until something happened.

Sedikit ilustrasi.

Dia menghampiri saya di YM. Dia dapat email address saya dari dating site manjam.com dimana saya tergabung didalamnya. Basabasibusuk sebentar, lalu pelan-pelan terlihat kalau dia cukup original. Menyenangkan. Speaks english quite well. Lucu pula! Cukup buat saya untuk ‘leleh’ dan termehek-mehek .. wkwkwkwk ..

Satu hal saja yang mengganggu: dia tidak punya foto, dan, setelah sekian lama bicara lewat chat dan telpon serta SMS, dia juga tampak segan sekali untuk kopdar alias ketemuan. Saya kecewa dan heran. Setelah lewat 2 minggu, dan pembicaraan semakin intens, saya akhirnya dapat jawaban saya.

Surat yang akan saya tuliskan di bawah ini kenapa saya pamer-pamerkan? Surat ini spesial, karena setelah menulis surat ini (dan mengirimkannya via YM offline messages, dan memastikan bahwa yang dituju betul-betul membacanya), saya lalu sanggup menolak (diri saya sendiri) untuk menjawab telepon dia, dan membalas SMS dia. Kenapa? Well, you will just have to read the letter below.

So, here it is …

Dear ‘nama’,

Saya suka sama kamu, ‘nama’. Banget. Ya, pake banget. Saya suka kamu sampai pada titik dimana saya sudah tidak terlalu peduli lagi bagaimana tampilan kamu secara fisik. Gak percaya? Terserah. Kamu bisa lihat sendiri di lanjutan surat ini.

Saya pingin bilang, bahwa saya sebetulnya amat siap mencoba membangun suatu relasi yang … mmm … It’s kinda hard for me to find a more ‘right’ term, so let me just say it, intimate relationship, sama kamu. Suatu hubungan yang lebih dekat.

Unfortunately, I simply can’t see that you have the same ‘target’. Ketemuan adalah suatu prosedur STD buat dua orang yang ketemu di dunia virtual, and, to my opinion, you were very reluctant even just to have a meeting…

When I was wandering about “why (you were so reluctant)?” It passed my mind that you might want to have the same thing as I want only you preferred to do it one brick @ a time.

Well, boy, how I was mistaken. One text from you a few weeks ago explained all I needed to know (all that I actually wanted to hear directly from you). You explained that you already have a BF. I was shocked.

Since then, I have a better picture of where I was standing in our so-called relationship. It was just friends ‘tween us. After few texts and phone calls following your ‘confession SMS’ I started to feel that something’s wrong.

‘What is it?’

‘You’ is the answer. You consume too much energy from me with your every texts, ph.calls, and humorous-serious coversation. I was absorbed. I couldn’t deny myself and stay ‘friends’ with you. Our sometimes intimate, BF-to-BF-like conversation drew me deeper INTO you.

Energi yang saya punya harus terserap, Cinta dan afeksi yang saya punya harus saya luberkan buat orang yang pantas. Siapa?

Semata-mata dia yang membalas dengan intensitas yang sama, dia yang kelak saya sebut pacar saya.

Kemungkinan besar adalah, ketika saya sudah siap, saya ga akan terlalu peduli lagi sama kamu.

I really love this song. I love the melody, which, to me sounds so carefree … Like I don’t have anything to worry about. That was why I put this song on my On-The-Go list in my iPod, and is why I play it every morning.

Hummingbird and A Flower

In my life, I really adore the exquisite beauty that human being are capable of making by taking advantages at the most with their body, and, of course, soul.

This video that I posted really stands out for me as a proof of my statement above.

The first time I saw this, it blew my mind. More importantly, it also shook my vision about beauty and art as a whole. The mixture of articulate body language-that is transferred to us through a marvelous choreography by the talented Wade Robson-speaks about a unique love between a hummingbird and a flower and the haunting-bitter-sweet musical setting, brings together a breathtaking performance by Hok and Jamie, two talented contestants in a reality show “So You Think You Can Dance”.

Take a look and see whether I’m totally wrong, or, completely right.
